Revive are transforming the world of waste. Taking used coffee grounds to produce sustainable palm oil alternatives. They needed help to simplify a complicated process whilst showcasing their innovative products. We needed to create an activist brand with one clear mission: Creating a world where waste becomes a want.

Our Role

  • Repositioning
  • Strategy
  • Brand
  • Copywriting
  • Website
  • Social Media

Half a million tonnes of waste coffee grounds get thrown away in the UK each year.

It doesn’t stop at coffee. Revive can invent new solutions to any waste stream. Planning for their ambitious future, our designs had to flip waste on its head. Giving new life to invaluable resources and find beauty in decay.

Innovation, environment and community are the key drivers behind Revive. Seeing possibility in old problems, rebuilding broken systems and inspiring a powerful community. Creating collective change for a sustainable future.

Design tools to educate

As an activist brand it was necessary to design with education in mind. Giving Revive the tools to share their story, celebrate their community and prove an alternative future.

  • To date Revive have saved 100,000kg of coffee from landfill.
  • Followers are up 11% across all socials – 20% specifically on instagram.
  • Secured £150k grant through Scottish Enterprise Green Jobs Fund.
  • Senior Chemist Dawn was the keynote speaker at a United Nations Women in STEM event at COP26.
  • New products are currently being trialled by cosmetic and food & drink manufacturers across Europe.

Knowing ilka take their ethical and environmental responsibility seriously was a big attraction to us. We’re consistently getting positive feedback on the design, branding and content. It goes without saying but we would 100% work with ilka again.
